Building a better brand
Nviro came to Lightfoot looking for a fleet management solution that would help it put its drivers first. The company wanted to look after its team and make sure that road safety was a priority across the whole fleet. As every employee drives a liveried vehicle, this would also help Nviro bolster its brand reputation across the local areas in which it works, as other road users would not be at risk of associating the company with aggressive or dangerous driving.
Learning to drive with Lightfoot in the vans did take some adjustment initially for the Nviro team, as they had only driven with telematics trackers previously. But now, the fleet is used to Lightfoot’s real-time in-cab coaching technology, and is reaping the rewards of driving responsibly.
In fact, Nviro’s people-oriented approach to van fleet management has meant that it’s benefitted from improvements in all the major areas of its fleet operations. By giving drivers an incentive in the form of Lightfoot’s driver rewards platform, Nviro have seen an 84% drop in incidents of dangerous driving, a 7.7% increase in MPG, and an average yearly saving of 13 tonnes of carbon emissions.

Lessening the sting of rising expenses
The rollout of the Lightfoot fleet management system in Nviro’s vehicles began in early 2022, just as record-breaking prices were starting to be seen at fuel pumps up and down the country.
